First Day of CNY : RED

This is my look on the first day of Chinese New Year 2013. I have been wearing either red or bright colours these days. Gonna show you guys my CNY outfit coordinates on my following posts. So just stay tuned, hehe! One of the best things during Chinese New Year is getting to meet my long-time-no-see cousins and reunite with some old friends. Well, of course, getting angpaus too! It's such an amazing thing to meet old friends and cousins especially they are from somewhere far far away. I don't always get to see them. So, Chinese New Year is definitely a great time to get us back together. 

School's gonna reopen soon! Are you guys ready yet?  Well, for me, I'm certainly not! I wonder why doesn't school give us holiday on Monday? It's such an important day for Hokkiens to 拜天公! Monday should be a holiday!

Crayon-like

Crayon-like backdrop. When someone mentioned crayon to me, first thing I would think of is definitely going to be the song Crayon by G-Dragon yet the second thing that would come up on my mind is the word 'colourful'. The playground's background is just so multi-coloured, so crayonic.  And yes, I know you're puzzled why is this gal here wearing all-black (except for the neon statement necklace), but don't you feel that it's an ideal choice to bring out the whole swag feel and also not to miss out, emphasizing on the word Giyongchy with the background? 

I am blogging about this outfit before my blog turns into a RED Chinese New Year mode. So now, let's see the pictures :)

As you can see above, the beanie is currently out of stock. I will announce on my Instagram, twitter (@thongjean), Facebook page and of course on my blog once I have a restock. I love this series of pictures to the max. There are so many hidden beautiful angles that we could find in this playgrounds. There were also many foreign children playing at there and it made my photographer kept screaming : ' Gosh, they are so cute'. It also made me recalled my childhood memories. I couldn't stand up straight in the playground like those children could. It also proves that I've grown up and reminds me that we can actually smile and laugh like there's no reason for us for not doing so.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Hello readers! I'm finally 17 years old! Although I'm super busy today and having 3 monthly exams tomorrow, but still I squeezed part of my time to update my blog just to mark this memorable day! This year's birthday was really awesome for me. I'm so glad that I have this crazy gang of girl friends and my Loong! They were really naughty. They were all such proficient actors, pretended as if they didn't put much thought on my birthday and somehow neglected it. In fact, Yuen Loong and the girls planned to give me a surprise.  I was absolutely shocked! You guys have succeeded! 

To begin with, I had no idea and was unaware about this plan at all. It was just like any other normal day for me in the morning. Not until...the first recess, when the bell rang, I went to the toilet to change for PE lesson. When I got back, Loong suddenly showed up infront of me, covered my eyes and led me to the cake. Every one was already there! Just a short while ago before i went to the toilet, it was a disappointing sight of none planning to celebrate for me. They acted so swiftly. I was pretty shocked! Before I even got my concious back, the birthday songs were sang in different types of version and languages by the girls and Loong. I was very touched. Really.

I really wanted to say a big thank you to Loong, to my girls and also to everyone of you who wished me Happy Birthday! Thank you guys for making this day so special for me :)
