Malacca trip with the girls photo diary

Went on a roadtrip to Malacca with my girls , Cherry and Vichy . Guess what , our surnames are the same ! Lim ! I didnt realise it actually , it was either Cherry or Vichy who mentioned about it . Three girls with the  identical surname - Lim went on roadtrip together , how exciting !

Few of you guys have asked me this question - how did we get there? Well , it was my father who sent us there and accompanied us all along . I know what you're thinking right now . Yes , my father accompanied us for like 16 hours and sent us back to Kuala Lumpur after that . I have the best father ever :) Love you papa ! So there were four Lim(s) in the car . Power of Lim's family . And as expected we had our own freedom there . We girls strolled around by ourselves while father waited us at a cafe or went for foot massage .

Initially, we planned to stay for a night in Malacca but to our dismay , all the hotels were fully booked .

Received a lot of feedback when I posted my status about being in Malacca . Thank you for your  kind suggestions of excellent places to visit . But honestly , we didnt have much time .  Some more it was raining like cats and dogs that day , pissed us off lol . Must visit the places next time !

So generally, we spent most of our time in Jonker Street ,  Malacca City .

I looked so fair here probably because of the nice natural sunlight.

After that , we took a pause cooling ourselves with some Ice Kacang .

Continued to stroll around Jonker Street after having our nice bowl of Ice Kacang and look what I've found . Lots of efforts & dedication are needed for these nicely-cut letters.

On the scent, we felt hungry and tired so stopped by at a tourist-must-visit coffee shop to have coffee and  durian cendols.  Relaxing.

It was 11 something at night and that we guess we'll call it a day and decided to go home . This is how we ended our Malacca trip . Had so much with them . Once again , I really thank my papa a lot :) I reached my home at 1 sth woah .

Papa said that we should do some homework before visiting a place which was what we did not . There are still many places we hadn't the chance to visit and spent most of the time in Jonker Street . I really wanted to visit baba and nyonya this kind of cultural places . Also , I havent tried Malacca's layered cake yet . Hope I get to try it on my next visit in Malacca .

That's the end of this post . Hope you enjoyed !

photos by father

Had a roadtrip with my parents last week to Tampin. I went on wikipedia to search about Tampin , it says that it's located along the Malacca-Negeri Sembilan border . So it belongs to both of these states , if Im not mistaken . Weird . I know . But I love that place ! We planned to go there last minute so it was quite late when we reached Tampin . Had some meals in random restaurants . The waiters and bosses of the restaurants were super friendly  ! There's a very famous dried noodle shop there . Sadly , it didnt open on the day we went . My father said it was really good and all the people here know about this shop . We randomly asked a guy we met about where is the famous noodle shop located and he straight away answered without giving a thought . Must try it next time on my next visit if I have the chance :)

Oh and yes , Im was quite pissed off because I couldn't upload any pictures via google uploader during the past few days ! It showed me this :
Untitled
what the eff right ?
I clicked into the link ' Upgade storage' , and it showed up I needa pay to get bigger storage . Arghhh , wasted my whole day to fix this uploading problem . In the end , I used back my abandoned flickr account . But there was a problem with my old account so I just created a new one. Finally and luckily , it worked .
That's the reason why I haven't been updating my blog for the past few days.

Let's just forget about it . It is already fixed by the super clever , veryyyy genius and powerful me . haha XD

PS : Not sure if you guys know about the existence of my facebook page. If you haven't liked my page yet . Please do me a favour & like it here ! Very much appreciated :)

Street Swag

It's my first time doing street photoshoot and it was indeed a good experience . Though there are a lot of pedestrians kept looking at us but we've successfully ignored them , tough job . My mysterious photographer and I took this series of photo at Bukit Bintang and it was on public holiday so you can imagine how crazy the crowds were .  We tried to shoot at the zebra crossing between Star Hill's Sephora and Pavillion but it somehow failed due to flooding pedestrians there and I was like being drown by the crowds . I guess I'd walked across, to and forth the zebra crossing around 5 times . That of course caught some attention, and to my astonishment, there was a stranger holding an antique film camera that requested to take photos of me . At that moment , I was quite shocked and I thought I posed quite awkward lol . Right after , the stranger went away , my photographer and I immediately burst into laughter because the situation was really awkward  .

30 pictures for this post , hope you guys enjoy them :)
Oh my gosh , what is the yellow shirt guy doing?
One of my fav shots .
One of my fav shots too !
I love this the most .
Also , one of my fav shots :)
A stranger who was holding an antique film camera requested to photograph me . ( which I've already mentioned above)

( Official One of A Kind t-shirt from YesAsia , H&M galaxy tight skirt , bag and shoes from Sungei Wang , Rayban sunnies , spiky bracelets from Foruchizu , Casio vintage watch)

photos by my mysterious photographer

Congratulations to you! Finally reached the end of the post after strolling through 30 of my street style photos  .
Overall , I think I look ... cool . The One of A Kind t-shirt was a gift from my brother . He said the size is too small for him . Yay for myself . It was bought from the website yesasia.com , you can click here if you feel interested to purchase . Of course , I do think that the t-shirt is expensive . But it was a gift from bro so I just accepted it lol . Costed him about rm120++ for this t-shirt.

Sorry to say something self-obsessive,  but I love myself in this look haha .

So what do you guys think ? Like the photos ? Which pics are your fav ?
